An Editor logs and changes things; a Viewer only reads. Only the owner renames the budget, invites people or deletes it.

Transactions, budgets, bills, goals and the daily number belong to the budget, so everyone in it sees the same ones.

About sharing
Does my partner need to pay?
No. On Pro, you share each of your budgets with one person, who joins on any plan, Free included. On Family, everyone you bring in also gets Pro on the budgets they own.
Can I keep a personal budget as well?
Yes. Each budget is separate: a shared one for the household, a personal one only you see. Owning more than one needs Pro or Family.
What can a Viewer do?
See everything in that budget, and change nothing.
Can someone leave, or be removed?
Anyone can leave a budget they joined, and the owner can remove a member or cancel an invitation that hasn’t been accepted yet.
