Investments, kept apart from spending.
An ETF bought this month isn’t a month of overspending. Spentalot tracks your holdings on their own page, with cost, value and gain, and counts them as Invested, never as Spent.
Pro
How it works
Holdings in, prices on, gains in view.
-
Add a holding, or import it
Stocks, ETFs, crypto, deposits, property. Or import a Revolut Stocks or Revolut Crypto export, or any broker’s CSV with its columns mapped.
-
Keep the prices current
Prices update every day on their own, stocks and ETFs from Yahoo Finance, crypto from CoinGecko.
-
See what moved
Value against cost for each position, the mix by kind, and what the whole portfolio was worth month by month.

Questions
About investments
What’s free, and what’s Pro?
Investments are part of Pro: holdings, buys and sells, values, import and live prices. On Free, your Budget still tracks the money you move to investing, by category.
Does Spentalot connect to my broker?
No. Nothing logs in anywhere: you add positions by hand, or import the CSV your broker or Revolut exports.
Where do the prices come from?
Yahoo Finance for stocks and ETFs, CoinGecko for crypto. The date of the last price is always on the page.
Does investing lower my daily number?
Money you move into investments leaves what’s left to spend this month, like savings. But it’s counted as Invested, never as Spent.
Tomorrow at 08:30, you’ll know.
Add your income and bills once. Your first number is waiting the next morning.
